July 15 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Stop by the Sea Turtle Patrol table at the 9th Annual Keep the Broad Creek Clean Water Festival, on July 15th from 5pm to 8pm at Shelter Cove Community Park. This is a free, family-friendly celebration of our local watershed with Interactive nature displays, a litter sweep from 5–6 PM (supplies provided!), games and activities with Island Rec, educational booths that highlight clean water, pollution prevention, and more.
“This festival celebrates the deep respect locals and visitors alike have for our natural beauty on HHI and the common desire for sustainability of our vibrant waterways and beaches” states Jean Fruh, Executive Director of TOF. The Broad Creek tidal salt marsh is a recreational treasure and critical habitat for numerous species of wildlife. Let’s work together to protect them.
